More on McQ and Then Some...

So, for the record, I (Lindsay) am rejoicing like crazy! I'm a giant McQueen fan, although until now the only thing McQueen that I could work into my budget was Kingdom (a perfume released under the McQueen label a few years ago. I still love it.) Oddly enough, I was in Manhattan tonight for a gallery opening and on the way home, we drove through the meatpacking district and right past the entrance to the McQ show! Even though we obviously couldn't sneak in, which was tempting, it was a thrill to see the entrance. I know, I'm a geek.

Anyway, while you're at Target checking out this collection of Alexander McQueen's flights of fancy for the fashion forward masses, pick up a few underpinnings on the cheap. Target is a great spot to pick up all the basics that need replacing every so often: the ubiquitous white tee (and a few other colors to add some pop to your wardrobe!), lace trimmed cami's, even seamless underwear. Here's a secret you might not know about: Spanx, which I'm sure you've heard about on Oprah, E!, and just about any fashion mag, makes a line for Target. It's called Assets by Sara Blakely, and ranges in price from $10-$26. It's ok, you don't have to thank me. Other stuff we love the bullseye for: cheap fashion jewelry, tights and leggings, sunglasses (you can finally afford the spares to leave in your glove box, beach bag, suitcase...), scarves, and all kinds of other adorable accessories.

In closing, I wanted to invite all our readers to leave us comments and email us at wnkspot@gmail.com. We want to field all your questions, address your issues, and know what's going on in your heads! Make sure to let us know what you want so we can give you lots of it!
